At the invitation of the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) that is presently vice-chair of the Ibero-American Platform of Television Regulators (PRAI), President of the HACA Ms. Amina Lemrini Elouahabi took part in the Forum “Women, media and ICT” organized in Mexico on the 7^th of March 2017.

 Ms. Lemrini made an intervention on the role of regulators in promoting the culture of equality. She particularly highlighted the assets of these institutions embodied in their institutional position, missions and prerogatives. As for Moroccan context, the experience of the HACA and its initiatives taken in different networks of which it is a member have been shared in a spirit of synergies reinforcement within a domain where freedom of communication and gender equality go hand in hand.

During this forum, attended by representatives of public bodies, audiovisual and telecom operators, media professionals, academic institutions, NGO and UN agencies, the President have been received by President of the IFT M. Gabriel Contreras, and met with prominent figures present at the event.
